Getting here from Alexandria

One published price

One price at $600, published in advance rather than quoted in the chair. The artist is licensed in Virginia, #1231002471, which you can check with the state yourself.

The unglamorous part

Sterile single-use setup and vegan pigments, and the work is looked at again once it has healed rather than signed off on the day.

What the climate does to it

The technique suits Northern Virginia's humid summers and dry winters. How long it holds depends on your skin and your sun exposure. Shading tends to outlast strokes in this climate, which is the reason she shades.

Questions from Alexandria Clients

The Annandale studio is a straightforward drive from most of Alexandria areas. From Old Town, take Duke Street west to I-395 N, then I-495 to Little River Turnpike. From West End/Landmark, you're just a short drive away via Little River Turnpike.

Nothing goes on the results page unless it has healed for at least six weeks, the interval is written in the frame, and the client has agreed in writing that it can be shown. There is nothing there yet, and that is deliberate: the old gallery was taken down rather than relabelled. What somebody else healed like is not what you will heal like anyway, which is why the useful photograph is one of your own brows.

Yes. Unlike Old Town or downtown DC, she has free, dedicated parking right at the Heritage Center studio. No meters, no circling the block—just pull up and walk in. Parking is free and outside the door, which is not nothing.

Considering Microblading in Alexandria, VA?

Whether a brow holds its edge is decided by the skin it is in and the depth the work was placed at, not by which side of the river you live on. Whether you're in Old Town, Del Ray, or the West End, the hyper-local climate conditions create faster fading than people are usually told to expect. Microblading here often fades well short of what people were told to expect.

Ombré powder brows use a sealed-dot deposit technique that holds pigment better under the same conditions. The reason is in how each one is put into the skin.

Worth a short drive from Alexandria?

Old Town and Kingstowne are both a short drive. Bring photos of brows you like and, more usefully, brows you do not.
