What Ink Mugi collects when you use this website or get in touch, where it goes, who sees it, and what you can ask for. Ink Mugi is one person, Mugi, working from a studio in Annandale, Virginia.

What you send, and where it goes
When you use a form on this site, it collects what you type and choose: your name, an email address or phone number, your message, any answers about previous permanent makeup or what worries you, how you heard about the studio, and any photographs you attach.
The form is stored by Netlify, which hosts this website, and delivered to Mugi’s email inbox by Resend, an email delivery service. Mugi reads it so she can answer you. The person who maintains the website for her can also reach the stored copies, to keep the forms working, and for nothing else.
Nothing you send is added to a mailing list, sold, or used for advertising.
Photographs
A photograph you send with a question is used to answer that question. It is not published.
Sending a photograph is not permission to show it to anyone. Publishing a photograph of your brows on this website or anywhere else needs a separate, written yes, asked for separately, and saying no makes no difference to your care. If you have given permission and change your mind, tell Mugi and the photograph is taken down from this website.
Health information
You may mention a medication, a skin condition or something else about your health so that Mugi can answer you properly. It is used for that and for planning your appointment, and nothing else. It is never sent to the website’s analytics. Share only what you are comfortable sharing; anything that matters can wait until you speak to her.
Booking and payment
Appointments are booked and paid for through Vagaro. Card details go to Vagaro and its payment processor; this website never sees them. Vagaro’s own privacy policy applies to what you enter there.
Any records kept from an appointment, such as a consent form or photographs for your file, are kept for your care and are not published without your separate written permission.
What the website collects on its own
- Google Analytics records which pages are visited, how people arrived, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from the IP address. It uses cookies to do this. The site also counts clicks on its booking, call and text links, and the fact that a form was sent, with the page it happened on. It never records what a form said or any photograph.
- Google Fonts: your browser loads the site’s typefaces from Google, which receives your IP address when it does.
- Google Maps: pages with a map load it from Google, which may set its own cookies.
- Netlify, the host, keeps the standard server logs any website produces.
The site sets no advertising cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from recording your visits.
Links to Instagram, Facebook, Google and Vagaro take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there.
What you can ask for
You can ask for a copy of what you have sent through this website, for it to be corrected, or for it to be deleted, and you can withdraw any permission you have given. Some appointment records may need to be kept for legal reasons; if so, Mugi will tell you which and why.

Ink Mugi’s services are not intended for anyone under 18, and this website is not meant to collect information from them. If you think a minor has sent something, get in touch and it will be deleted.
Changes
When this policy changes in substance, the date at the top changes with it.
